How to Modify Multiple Object Settings at Once in LCM (Change Attributes)

Modifying object settings one by one can be a tedious process. LCM provides a Change Attributes feature that allows you to modify settings for multiple objects at the same time.

This article walks you through the steps to bulk-modify object settings using this feature.

1 Prerequisites

Gather the following information before proceeding:

Field

Description

IMEI or other identifier

Used to locate the target objects in LCM.

Settings requiring modification

List of settings and their desired new values.

โš ๏ธ Warning: All selected objects must share the same HW type for the Change Attributes feature to work.


2 Steps

  1. Log in to LCM.

  2. Go to Objects.

  3. Search for the target objects and tick the checkbox next to each one.

  4. Click Change attributes.

  5. On the left side of the screen you will see the current values. On the right side you will see the modified values. Enable every setting you want to modify using the sliding bar, then input the desired value.

  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next.

  7. Review the current and modified settings for each object. Once you confirm the changes are correct, click Confirm.


3 Expected Result

If the modification is successful, a summary will appear at the top of the Objects screen confirming the changes.
