If exact vehicle model is not found in the list of tested and supported according to our database

https://vehicles.ruptela.com/home

If the described instruction does not help https://doc.ruptela.com/articles/#!hardware-solutions-publication/reading-data-from-light-commercial-vehicles-and-vans/q/auto-detect/qid/28337/qp/6 , then you can also try the following verification and configuration option:

Considering the fact that not all vehicle models, not all years of manufacture are described by our fellow developers, so if you do not find suitable documentation and models for connections - please, then you can try the standard connection to the OBD connection using the pins / wires coming out of the OBD pins Pin6/pin14 (for all connections directly to the wires, we recommend using the EasyCan contactless reader in order not to cut the wires). https://doc.ruptela.com/articles/#!accessories-publication/en-obd2-quick-start-guide

Steps:

1 - Our recommendation in such situation is to try to find wires for connection in your vehicle and connect them to CAN High, CAN Low of the tracker. At the same time, it is important to use EasyCan (the board of which will be marked Can High / Can Low) so that it is possible to connect and read data without cutting into wires and without harm to the on-board system.

.

2 - You can test the way to connect and read data with similar models of vehicles (older years) if you can find similar wires (by configuring according to the instructions).

Using the attached documentation, connection diagrams, you can also set up the appropriate configurations for trackers, where you should first of all pay attention to the "Group" which should be selected during configuration and activate all available options as in the photo below:

or example with connected 2 CAN lines

3 - But if you fail to connect or read data in this way, you may still need to connect to the OBD connector

OBD connector,6 th pin, – CAN High
OBD connector, 14 th pin, – CAN Low

4 - in this case, in the configuration you will need to select the model and year closest to your vehicle as close as possible from the available ones).

5 - We advise you to pre-configure the tracker and activate the reading of all available parameters, to check with the engine running in order to see in real time any read data and their changes (which will allow even when checking all twisted pairs of wires with each new coordinate sent by the tracker to see whether they are read or not onboard data.

6 - To check, you can also try with current connections (OBD pin6 / Pin14 or when connected to other wires found) to configure and set another year for the model used and the selected LCV subgroup

, in order to understand whether previously unread on-board parameters will be available and considered.

7 - If CAN data is not read from the on-board computer using the methods described earlier, then all that remains is to try to check various configurations by changing the group numbers (for example, changing the LCV subgroup from Hyundai14 to Hyundai12, etc.) when connected to OBD pin6 / Pin14), since this the most likely remaining way of all to read the data.
