If you are using Bluetooth accessories and you update the FW of your device remotely through LCM, the accessories may stop working, as the FW file does not include the new BT module FW.

To solve this, you need to update the BT module FW of your device as well. You can do it by connecting the device to the current version of Device Center and fully updating it, or remotely as explained below.

(For this example, we will take HCV5 as an example)

1- Go to https://doc.ruptela.com/articles/#!downloads-publication/downloads-home

2- Go to the device type and download the .bin file.

6- Login to https://track.ruptela.com/administrator/authentication/login

Got to “FW add”

7- Select the “ble_nrf_app_00.B5.07.00.bin” you saved before and click on “Upload”.

Go to “FW update”

9- Search and tick the object you wish to update.

10- In the FW file search bar, type “ble_nrf_app_00.B5.06.00.bin” and click on Update.

11- Once the upload is complete, the BT module will be updated and running.
