Steps:
There are 2 ways to create an alert when the tracker is disconnected from the power supply:
From the device side:
1 - Open Advanced Configurator -> File -> Open CFG -> choose your configuration file -> press Open.
2 - In IO events Options set the highlighted parameters like in the screenshot below:
NOTE: the Level parameter is displayed in milliVolts (mV). So, for example, if you set 10 000, it means that the device will send an Alert/SMS when it drops below 10 Volts (V).
3 - Set the SMS alert number for getting a notification to your phone:
Go to Authorized numbers -> insert the needed SMS Alert number -> press Close.
NOTE: „00“ stands for „+“. The SMS alerts will be sent to the SMS Alert Number provided in the Authorized numbers options.
4 - Then Press File -> Save CFG -> Upload the configuration to the device.
From the TrustTrack side (using the Events module):
1 - Enable the IO Input Trigger in the Object settings in LCM (Locator Control Manager) -> press Save.
2 - In the Client’s Trust Track account create a new event with the condition Input Power Supply Voltage < 10 000 mV.
3 - Choose how you want to receive the notifications:
4 - Press Save.
Expected outcome:
After all these steps, the Client will start receiving alerts/SMS when the device disconnects from the power supply.
