Steps:
A. Send SMS command: pass info hwid
1. Responses 4th generation devices:
If device answers with FMPG46, for example, it means it has a 3G modem
If device answers with FMP415, for example, it means it has a 2G modem
Letter G indicates the 3G hardware version for this specific device.
2. Responses 5th generation devices:
5th generation devices have different hardware version markings.
FMP5 means 5th-generation advanced devices in general.
2nd number is not relevant in this case if you have only HCV5, LCV5, and Pro5 devices.
The LAST number will determine modem type.
So in case of 5th gen devices, when an answer to info hwid is received, look only at the last number:
1, 6, 8, 10 & 11 means that the modem supports LTE CAT M1 / NB-IoT and 2G
2, 5 & 12 means that the modem supports 2G only
3 & 9 means that the modem supports 3G and 2G
For example:
FMP5-3-1 has LTE CAT M1 / NB-IoT / 2G connectivity
FMP5-4.5-12 has 2G only
FMP5-4.3-3 has 3G / 2G
B. Send SMS command: pass version
If it is 3G device values would be between:
2255 - 2283
2523 - 2547
2772 - 2791
2897 - 2911
3014 - 3026
3124 - 3132
3232 - 3235
