Description

After releasing FM-HCV5-Lite and FM-PRO5-Lite which have only two DINs the LCM uses different method for Tacho support activation.

Originally:

  • In order to support Tacho, we need checkbox to be enabled;

  • In order to enable Tacho checkbox we send special command to device;

    • It is performed at FW update page in LCM by selecting the object and pressing Tacho support button

  • In order to send that command we need DIN4=1 (Ignition On), which is hardcoded in few places;

Currently the LCM checks:

  • First, if coordinate contains Custom ignition which is IO ID 409, then use IO ID 409 = 1 rule;

  • If IO ID 409 is not present in coordinate, then search for DIN4 which is IO ID 5 and apply DIN4=1 rule;
