3 Device Configuration

3.1 Open Eco Drive Settings

  1. Download the current device configuration.

  2. Open the configuration file and select the Eco Drive section.

3.2 Configure Idling Parameters

  1. Set the Idling delay — the number of seconds a vehicle must idle before the event triggers.

  2. Set the Idling speed — all speed values below this threshold are treated as idling.

3.3 Select the Data Source

3.3.1 Vehicles Without CAN Data — Use GPS

If the vehicle does not have CAN data, set the Data Source to GPS:

Then enable Calculate data only when engine is ON and configure the Custom engine source:

5 Create the Event in TrustTrack

2. For the condition, select Input → Eco-Drive idling state = 1:

3. Customize the event type and notification frequency in the same window, then click Update:

6 Result

After completing all steps above, the idling event will trigger whenever the vehicle idles longer than the configured delay. The client will receive notifications through the delivery method they selected in the event settings.

💡 Tip: If the event does not trigger as expected, verify that the ignition detection source matches the actual vehicle setup and that the Eco Drive parameters are correctly configured.
